The shorts-to-pants pattern lets you zip-transform your pants into shorts without the need to take off your boots. The side seam can be zipped up above the knee for easy on-and-off during your adventure.
The basic design has a slim modern look and yet provides enough space for free movement and extra layering. Choose the extras you need for your adventure and get the right fit by specifying your measurements. The sewing instructions are adapted to your design to keep your sewing on track. They are very detailed and guide you with lots of photos step-by-step. Perfect for your adventure.

Extras:  Waistband: Choose between the elastic waistband, 4 cm wide (1.5") with belt loops or the form waistband including the front-fly.
Hand pockets: Choose between the rounded or the zipper hand pockets.
Thigh pockets: Decide on the pocket type and the body side.
Basic design: Includes a gusset and shaped knees. The side seam is placed further to the back, so the optional thigh pockets sit more on the side.

Recommended main fabrics: Supplex/Cordura-blend, Supplex-Nylon, Eta-Proof/Ventile or Polyester/Cotton blend.
Recommended secondary fabrics: Supplex/Cordura-blend, Eta-Proof/Ventile, waxed Polyester/Cotton blend, uncoated Cordura.
All fabrics are soft, wind-and water-resistant, very breathable and fast drying.

Design tip: Choose a more durable uncoated fabric for the back/butt piece, the hem design or the front/knee piece. Or simply play with colors. The uncoated Cordura and waxed Polyester/Cotton blends are abrasion-resistant and perfect for the back/butt and hem.
For example, use the Supplex/Cordura-blend for the whole pants. Or use it only for the back/butt and hem. The EtaProof/Ventile can be used for the rest of the pants.

All PatternAdventure pants have a relaxed fit to allow free movement. A base layer fits underneath. They are perfect for all kinds of different outdoor activities. The included additional length covers your ankles when lifting your legs to prevent your trousers from sliding above your boots, and small debris or stones getting into your shoes.
