Hiking Pants

These custom made hiking pants feature two hand and thigh zipper pockets. The butt, knee and hem parts are made from 'British Millerain Sahara waxed cotton'. The main fabric is a quick drying light weight stretch fabric with a 10 -12% 2-way stretch.
My Sewing Experience
Planning and sewing these pants was quite a challenge for me. I was very glad when the zipper pockets and the front-fly zipper part were done. The gaiter hook was easy to add at the very end. I learned so much in the process. I made these pants during the local sewing course and got very good guidance.
They are my favorite hiking pants. So far, they carried me on numerous trips through Lapland and work perfectly. Just what I need.
